[MR] BBC: National Museum to Get Galloway Viking Hoard

Noble Friends, Especially Vikings and Fellow Scots:

The National Museums of Scotland, with their main galleries in 
Edinburgh, has been awarded tentative ownership of the Galloway Viking 
Treasure hoard. That is, if the National Museums can come up with nearly 
£2 million. This 2014 treasure find, discovered by a metal detectorist,
