Noble Friends, Especially Fellow Scots:

Most of you have probably seen photos or drawings of carved Pictish 
stones. These are often covered with interesting battle scenes, beasties 
of various sorts, and early Christian symbols. Now some archaeologists 
are suggesting that these stones MIGHT have been painted in vivid
