Noble Friends,
Today the BBC Travel is offering a brief photo show about Armenia, said to
be the first Christianized country in the world. The Armenian king,
Tiridates III, was converted to Christianity in 301 by St. Gregory the
Illuminator. The BBC piece features a number of fascinating medieval
churches belonging to the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as some
significant pre-Christian monuments.
