[MR] Wikipedia: Joan of Arc Arrives at Orleans

On this date in 1429, Joan of Arc arrived at the besieged city of 
Orleans. Her mission was to drive off the English and relieve the city:

8 November.

Little known factoid: When Joan entered Orleans, her vanguard included 
60 Scottish men-at-arms, and 70 Scottish archers. The archers were 
commanded by Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Auchterhouse, the hereditary Sheriff
