The Department of the History of Medicine of Johns Hopkins University
School of Medicine has launched a new suite of graduate-level online
courses, making the history of health; healing; the biomedical sciences;
and public health accessible to a wide variety of audiences. Students may
take individual courses or pursue a Certificate or Master's Degree in the
History of Medicine. Online students can work from anywhere on their own
computers and mobile devices. Classes are small and discussion-based,
including live online sessions, and are taught on the quarter system (8
weeks per course).
Initial and Future Course Offerings Include:

* Health and Healing in the Ancient World
* Medicine from the Black Death to the Scientific Revolution
* Science and the Practice of Medicine
* Biomedicine and its Consequences
