Noble Friends,

On this date in 1374, a major outbreak of dancing mania, variously known
as St. John's or St. Vitus' dance, or dancing plague, struck in Aachen,
a sort of medieval rave party. Under this phenomena, people danced
uncontrollably until they collapsed from exhaustion, or sometimes death.
Dancing plague was known to happened during the dark ages, and outbreaks
continued to occur across Europe into the 17th century:

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, That Crazy Scot
