Noble Friends,

According to the BBC, the site of a 1069 rematch battle between the 
Saxons and Normans has been identified in North Devon. The battle again 
ended in disaster for the Saxons: 
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-devon-35633783 . This battle was very 
significant, but so unknown that it doesn't even appear to have a name!

Didn't know about this one? Neither did I. There's so much more to learn 
about out there!
