On the 23rd of April, AS L, the Barony of Lochmere hosted Nacht in der
Stadt, the German invasion of Night on the Town. Her Majesty, Queen Thora
graced the populace with her fair and fierce presence throughout the day,
and held a court in the evening to recognize several worthy individuals.
Invited in by Her fine hosts, Gabrell and Avice, the Baron and Baroness of
Lochmere, Her Majesty gave Their Excellencies leave to conduct Their court
business first, which will be reported by Partan Herald.

Upon completion of Lochmere's Baronial business, Queen Thora welcomed
everyone present and thanked them for the enjoyable day. As Her first order
of business, Her Majesty invited all of the children present to come
forward while Lord Cormac snuck out with the treasure chest of toys for the
future of our society to get some wiggles out with a hearty chase.

After the laughter subsided, Her Majesty requested the presence of Lord
Alexander of Ayr. As he was not present, his Baron, Fergus of Highland
Foorde was called forward to accept the award on his behalf. Though the
award was dated to this court, and read into the rolls, Queen Thora asked
that anyone wishing to know the accolade bestowed on the worthy Lord
Alexander to come to Highland River Melees, where Baron Fergus will bring
the scroll and medallion held in trust to be presented to Lord Alexander in
person.

Her Majesty then had both Lord Allen of Wolfhou and Lady Sanada Katsumi
before her. She spoke highly of each gentle and their contributions to
rapier and their skills apparent upon the field. Thus did she induct both
Lord Allen and Lady Katsumi into the Order of the Sea Dragon.

Remarking on the many new faces seen during the day, Queen Thora bade all
those for whom it was their first event to come forward. Each newcomer was
welcomed to Atlantia with a token from Her Majesty's hand and implored to
return and enrich our realm at future events.

Next Lord Brian de Moray was summoned before the Queen, where She asked him
about his great service in building and maintaining many pages for the
marshals. Grateful for Lord Brian's service to the realm, Queen Thora
inducted him into the Order of the Opal.

Her Majesty then demanded the presence of Lord Ulfarr Refskegg and Lady
Meabhdh Finglas (also known as Sanada Akime). Queen Thora informed those
assembled of the prowess of each gentle with sword upon the rapier field,
Her admiration at watching them train, and inducted both Lord Ulfarr and
Lady Akime into the Order of the Sea Dragon to much acclaim.

Queen Thora requested that Lady Xixiliya of Macau present herself before
the Atlantian throne. Alas Lady Xixiliya had to depart the event early, but
Her Majesty felt the recognition was overdue, and decided to continue with
bestowing awards upon her in absentia. Her Majesty first awarded Lady
Xixiliya the Sea Star of Atlantia for her work with newcomers to her area,
even learning some armoring to assist those in need. But Lady Xixiliya's
service has gone above and beyond aiding newcomers, and Queen Thora felt
her service was also worthy of inducting her into the Order of the Opal.
Her Majesty then asked her Shiremates from Roxbury Mill in attendance to
present her scrolls and medallions to Lady Xixiliya with Her appreciation
and gratitude.

For Her final piece of business, Her Majesty asked Baroness Avice of
Lochmere to help Her describe the good works of a member of Lochmere. Her
Excellency spoke of a gentleman who is always the first to arrive and the
last to leave any Lochmere event. He is dependable for transporting much of
the Barony's property for setting up events and then storing again after
the day is done. Though he has been recognized for his service with many an
award from the Barony, he bore only an Award of Arms from AS 19. Her
Majesty requested that Lord Eshton Spearcrafter come before Her so that She
might recognize him. While he came before the Queen as a Lord, he rose, to
much acclaim, as a Baron of the Court of Atlantia.

With the hall still ringing from the cheers of Skal for Baron Eshton, there
being no further business before our Queen, thus closed the court of Her
Majesty Thora, Queen of Atlantia.

In Service,
Mistress Genevieve d'Aquitaine
