[MR] BBC: New Viking Evidence in Canada

Noble Friends, Especially Vikings,

Today the BBC is offering a tantalizing story about the discovery of 
evidence of another Viking settlement at Point Rossee in Newfoundland. 
In particular scientists have found evidence of bog iron smelting: 
http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-35935725 . The find suggests that 
Viking exploration, and possibly settlement, went on far to the south of 
L'Anse aux Meadows, a well-known Viking site.
