Sarishan,

I, too, love Quilling. Although I don't do it anymore, I used to do quite a bit of it as a teenager. Like you, I have tried to track down period examples of the artform, but it seems that due to it's fragile nature, none of it survived. I went so far as to talk to a museum curator in the UK. That's not to say there isn't something out there, but what research I have done myself has come up empty. Sorry I don't have better news.
