[MR] BBC: "Coin Clipping" Hoard Found

Here's one for the odd box: a metal detectorist in England discovered a
hoard of coin clippings. While the hoard actually dates from the 17th
century by the latest dates on the coins, many of the coin shavings are
from earlier coins, and this was a common crime during our period:

Did you know a coin clipper could be hung for his crime? Last time I
checked, people were hanged. Pictures are hung. (Sigh!) It has been
years since I heard the word "hanged". Have you ever heard of a
"hunging"? I think not.
