Unto Your Majesties King Christoph and Queen Adelhait, Your Highnesses
Prince Dietrich and Princess Thora, and the good Populace of the Kingdom
of Atlantia does Cian Triton, Principal Herald of Atlantia, send greetings.

On Saturday, November 7, 2015, in the Barony of Nottinghill Coill, a
tournament was held to select the Heirs to the thrones of Atlantia.
During the day, several courts were held, and this missive is a record
of those items of business conducted by Their Majesties of Atlantia.

In the morning, during the procession, the first combatant/consort team
came forward. Sir Dietrich von Stroheim and Thora Heri were heralded in
by His Grace Duke Cuan. As the pair approached the Royals, Their
Majesties stepped onto the field to meet them, declaring that They had
an issue with Thora in particular, and were not able to find her
acceptable at this time. A stunned and rather dejected looking Thora
hung her head, as Her Majesty scanned for the Triton Principal Herald.
Not realizing he had moved from the opposite side of the field to stand
near Her, Her Majesty jumped as Triton opened Their court. The stealthy
Triton herald apologizes to Her Majesty for startling her.

Their Majesties informed Thora that she was found unacceptable because
she was not yet a member of Atlantian nobility, and that They were
determined to rectify that matter by Granting her Arms. Thus was Lady
Thora Heri now acceptable to the Crown of Atlantia and deemed worthy to
both fight and be a consort in Their Crown Tourney.

Their Majesties then had court closed, and Triton Ninja snuck back to
the other side of the field to continue the procession.
Following a wondrous tournament of chivalry and honor, one fighter
reigned supreme. Their Majesties were quite pleased to crown Sir
Dietrich von Stroheim and Lady Thora Heri as the new Prince and Princess
of Atlantia!

Later that afternoon/evening, a Royal Court was held in the feast hall,
and Their Majesties processed in, accompanied by Their Highnesses and
Their Excellencies of Nottinghill Coill and Hidden Mountain, both of
whom shared the responsibilities of hosting this wonderful event.

The King and Queen welcomed everybody, and thanked them for coming. They
then had the autocrat, Lady Caitriona, come before Them, where she
addressed the populace and thanked her staff. Before she returned to
her seat, Lady Caitriona announced the winners of several A&S
competitions that were held that day.

Lord Robeard mac Oscair was summoned before Their Majesties. Their
Majesties had heard great things about Lord Robeard, including how he
serves as Baronial heavy champion, and is often involved with setup and
take down at many events. The King was especially impressed with
Robeard’s hairstyle, which was very much a Viking look. Their Majesties
gave Lord Robeard an Opal as a way of thanking him for all the work that
he does in support of his barony.

Lady Isabella Daughter of Arabella was called to come before the
Atlantian thrones. Queen Adelhait spoke of the work that Lady Isabella
has done in the arts and sciences, having served as her canton MOAS,
running regular meetings, is involved in calligraphy and illumination,
and is a very accomplished bard. Thus, Their Majesties were minded to
award her a Coral Branch.

The newcomers were invited to come forward, and Their Majesties thanked
them for their attendance, and spoke on several of them who, even though
it was their first event, found time to assist with setup and take down,
card running for the tournament, and other acts of service. A special
token was presented to each of the newcomers for them to remember their
first event, and Their Majesties encouraged them to continue attending.

Lady Runa Redbush was summoned into court, where Their Majesties
expressed Their appreciation for the work that Lady Runa does, helping
out her Baron and Baroness, and especially how she is able to wrangle
“that special flower”, the much loved Baron Bor. Because of the hard
work that she does, Their Majesties chose to give her an Opal.

Katherine Kyst was called forth into court, accompanied by her parents,
Count Sinclair and Countess Kari. Their Majesties were very proud of
the work that They had heard that Katherine does, assisting with MOLing,
helping with children’s activities, serving as a retainer, working in
the kitchen, etc. Their Majesties decided that it was past time to
award Katherine her Arms. Lady Katherine was escorted out of court by a
beaming Count Sinclair, as Countess Kari, as proud as a mother can be,
followed along.

Lady Jorunn nic Lochlainn was summoned before Their Majesties, and the
Queen told several amusing anecdotes about Lady Jorunn and the gloves
that she makes. Her Majesty was so proud of the fine work that she
does, that the Queen awarded her an Opal.

The children present were summoned forth to come before Their Majesties,
and Prince Dietrich offered up his squire, Lord Carrick Mac Manus, to
carry the toy box to the back of the room, where the children were
allowed to follow him and choose a toy.

Having now gotten the children all excited and given them toys to play
with, Their Majesties did close Their court and process out, to
anxiously await the upcoming feast that smelled so good.

This concludes my report on the events of the day at Fall Crown
Tournament. All items are as accurate as my recollection can make them,
and any mistakes are solely my own.

In service to Crown and Kingdom,

Cian Triton
Principal Herald
Kingdom of Atlantia.
