Unto Their Most Noble Majesties, King Logan andQueen Esa, greetings from Lady Deirdre O’Bardon. I humbly submit this report asherald of Your Royal Court held in the afternoon on May 16 Anno Societatis L atStorvik Novice Tourney.

After Royal Court was opened, His Majesty welcomedthe populace with a tale of Baron Igor Bear who had welcomed Him to the faireBarony of Storvik many years ago.  Thepopulace began to chuckle and Baron Igor was identified in the audience.Storvik Baronial Court was then held with thepermission of Their Majesties and is being reported by the Storvik BaronialHerald.
Their Majesties called a young gentle named Julian intoTheir Presence.  This young gentle receivedthe thanks of Their Majesties for his many services throughout the day and atoken of Their esteem.
Autocrat Mistress Graciela Esperanza de Sophia, whoidentified herself as “Just Gracie!” came into Their Majesties’ Presence.  Mistress Graciela announced the winners ofthe day’s competitions who included Lady Aemelia Rosa who won the adult poetrycompetition, Selene O’Cearbhail of the Black Marsh who won the youth poetrycompetition, and Douglas Wallace Morton who won the Arts & Sciencescompetition.
Alas, my pen moves not as quickly as my mouth, andso I do not have the winners of the other competitions.  After Mistress Gracie finished with her businessbefore Their Majesties, Douglas Wallace Morton camebefore Their Majesties and was given his Award of Arms.
Cecille Cassaire also known as CassairWarwick was escorted into Their Majesties’ Presence by Griffin Warwick and wasgiven an Opal.
Griffin Warwick was not allowed to leave TheirMajesties’ Presence until the story of his assistance to Her Majesty wasrecounted.  It seems that Her Majestyarrived at Gulf Wars without the tent walls His Majesty was to havepacked.  His Majesty expressed Hisgratitude for this great service while Her Majesty presented Griffin Warwick anUndine.
Signora Grazia Morgana was called before TheirMajesties to receive an Opal for her services.
Then Lord John Angus West received an Opal fromTheir Majesties for service to the Kingdom and for carrying many pots andserving trays.
Rayhana al-Sayyida bint Yusuf was encouraged to continuemaking her tasty brews when she received a Coral Branch.
Next Their Majesties called Sir Jocelin d’Outremer intoTheir Presence and noted that he is known for his fighting skills but also forhis bookbinding for which he was given a Pearl.
When Master Christopher MacConing was called intoCourt by Her Majesty, he asked what he had done this time.  His concern changed to delight when he receivedthe Writ for the Order of Defense.
The final order of business occurred when TheirMajesties announced that Lord Sebastian Alexander, legally known as MichaelSteele, received a third level banishment.
Royal Court was then closed.  Deirdre O'Bardon
