Noble Friends,

Today the BBC featured a video tour of the pentagonal Holt Castle in 
Wales, but this is all a computer simulation of how the rooms might have 
looked. Sadly, there is no furniture or wall decoration. Sources often 
tell us the interior walls of castles were plastered and decorated with 
murals or colored banding. It still is an impressive and interesting
