Unto all who read this message does Lady Patricia of Trakai send greetings!

On a clear and cold day numbered the 23rd of November in A.S. XLVIII, Their Royal Majesties Ragnarr and Lynette, King and Queen of Atlantia, did make the journey to the part of Their Realm known as Stierbach. There they found many members of their populace engaged in many happy activities: buying wares, selling wares, displaying works of artisanal skill, performing beautiful music, engaging in tests of combat skill with heavy swords and rapiers, and shooting at targets with bow and arrow. As the sun set among the rolling hills, Their Majesties did sit in Their Court to speak to Their populace and recognize several among them for divers skills.

First the King and Queen did summon Lord Wulff Nuremberger into Their presence and, after praising him for his service, inducted him into the Order of the Opal.

Next, Lady Anastasiia Iosifova did present herself to Their Majesties, as requested, and also received the Opal for service. She did not remain the newest Companion of the Opal for long, though, for Their Majesties also summoned Lord Oswin inn heimski and presented him with his Opal as well.

Their Majesties then called forth all children who were still in attendance, and they eagerly rushed forward. After warning them not to slip and fall on the polished hard floor, Queen Lynette sent the youngsters off in hot pursuit of one of Their champions, armed with the toy box.

Turning Their attention back to adult matters, Their Majesties summoned Lord Naran Numuchi into their presence and bestowed upon him the Opal.

Next, Lady Alienor de Bathe was called into court and awarded the Fountain for her acts of service to the Kingdom.

Lady Christina de Nedham was requested to present herself in court and inducted into the Order of the Opal. Their Majesties noted that Lady Christina was from a household devoted to service and also had a daughter, Lady Miriel de Nedham, who was performing much work on behalf of the Kingdom. Lady Miriel stepped forward to join her mother, and Their Majesties called forward the Order of the Golden Dolphin and inducted Lady Miriel into that Order.

Next, Their Majesties called forth all persons for whom this was their first event, welcomed them, and presented them with cups and goblets so that they may always find hospitality among the populace.

The King and Queen then gave leave to Their Excellencies of Stierbach to conduct some business concerning the local residents. When Their Excellencies asked Lord Aeddan Ivor to come into court for some business, King Ragnarr stepped in and presented Lord Aeddan with his Grand Bowman Elite medallion.

After Their Excellencies closed Their court, Their Majesties summoned forth a worthy youth named Liz Grimmdottir. Her parents replied that she had already departed for home. Their Majesties asked her parents, Lady Gunnora Grimm and Lord Grimm Tokesonn, to step forward, and then They awarded the Hippocampus to Liz Grimmdottir in absentia, with the understanding that They will call her into a future court to honor her in public.

Their Majesties also noted that children learn their ethics of service from their parents, so They took the opportunity to induct Lady Gunnora and Lord Grimm into the Order of the Opal.

Mistress Genevieve d’Aquitaine appeared in front of Their Majesties to state that, although she has enjoyed serving as Chancellor of the University of Atlantia for the past four and a half years, it is time for someone else to take over the office. She presented the banner of the University to her successor, Lady Lisette la Rouxe. Their Majesties then took the opportunity to present Lady Lisette with her Opal for her acts of service.

Lady Emery de Fittun was likewise brought into the Royal presence, where Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Opal.

Finally, Their Majesties called forth the members of the Order of the Golden Dolphin and found their ranks to be incomplete. King Ragnarr walked to the back of the hall and escorted Lord Stephen Bridewell into court, where Their Majesties made him a Companion of this Order of high merit.

As They closed Their court, Their Majesties bade everyone to travel safely on the way home.

I certify that this is a true account of the proceedings, and in the spirit of the season, I give thanks that I was able to serve as a humble recorder of Their deeds.

Respectfully submitted,
Lady Patricia of Trakai
Drakkar Pursuivant
