Miracle Joust was the term I have heard and realize it applies perfectly to this past weekend….
The first equestrian footing in an established large event will always be the most effort. We have been invited into a great community and series of tourney’s that I feel will prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding accomplishment. Our hosts were gracious and understanding. The hosting Barony of Caer Mear were indeed inviting and accommodating. The presence of smile everywhere told us a grand story….
I must first publicly and loudly express sincere admiration and gratitude for Lady Caelain and her husband Shamus, who, without there constant traveling back and forth to lay the groundwork, I fear this event would have been a tough one to accomplish. As we all know, the groundwork, organization, plans, hay, shavings, coordination for facilities etc….take time and a tremendous amount of tedious effort. Unrelenting, a stalwart, Lady Caelain….pushed forward at every obstacle and challenge including a personal vehicle with needed reparations. I could see the many challenges have taken it’s toll on Lady Caelain ;- I thank you with deep admiration on behalf of the Atlantian Equestrian Marshall-ate.
Lady Alienore de Bathe…. Carrying forward the plan, refining the recipe for success and determining where assets were needed, and correctly publishing the tourney’s are always a tedious task. Our animals have always been in the forefront of care… our friends usually take the stress we often bottle up and help us to understand the dynamics of every situation. You were the Engineer in this Dynamic Duo with Lady Caelain who served as your engine. I commend your organization and foresight for the equestrian encampment, (including hot showers),… warm smiles and chilly nights made this experience magical…. Having the drive to think outside the box… embrace new ideas and adapt them to our medieval games made this event different, special and fun…. This event…you should be feeling immediately the results of your efforts (sore muscles) but the lasting affects should be a sense of accomplishment that you share with Lady Caelain of a
job well done that has it’s own unique bar that you set whether you realized it or not. You ran the mounted joust like a boss!
Equestrian Marshals of Atlantia…Lady Nem, Master Terafan, Lord Lucien, and EQMIT Baroness Beatrice…you flexibility and ability to easily adapt and guide made it possible for me to serve as a participant and ability to step back and review the entire event…. Our world is growing, healthy and has much promise. This is a direct result of our collective effort. I thank you for all of your contributions for this event.

With Warmest Regards I Remain ...
