Here's my opinion, for what it may be worth. I have been reading this magazine, along with its siblings, for as long as they have been in print.

Yes, the article didn't show us in the most positive of light. So what? In my eyes, any press at a national level can be a good thing. We can't judge what was done in the east kingdom at that particular event because we weren't there.

However, we CAN take up Lady Rohesia's challenge if we are that bothered. The way I look at it is that if someone comes looking for us because of the article, we win. Once someone gets here, and sees what we are really like, they will then have the opportunity to make an informed decision. *grins* Because we all know how fantastic this Kingdom and her people are. Goes back to the "every single one of us is a Chatelaine" statement.

If we want to be taken seriously, then WE need to be out there, talking up the SCA. WE need to be bringing new people to events, sharing the stories of what made this dream we all share real, even if only for one moment.

These are the thoughts of one individual, and should be treated as such.
