Noble friends,
Now lawyers (or should we say "solicitors"?) are involved in the fight over Richard III's final resting place. They represent Richard's descendants, and are petitioning to force his burial in York Minster, even though the Minster doesn't want the body: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-21936327 .
Meanwhile, a grave has been opened at a church in Winchester, which may, or may not, contain the remaining bones of the Saxon king Alfred the Great: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-21939274 . Alfred has been almost as active in death as he was in life, having moved about quite a bit since his 889 demise.
There is sure to be more these regal stories. Stay tuned.
Yours Aye,
Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
