Noble Friends,
Here we go again! Now someone has been writing abusive letters to the clerics at York Minster because they have backed away from burying Richard there: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-21761540 . Is this nasty, or what? Meanwhile York MPs are demanding government intervention to get Richard for York, saying that the agreement with Leister University was a "finders-keepers agreement": http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-21753034 . Is the War of the Roses going to be fought all over again? Maybe it would have been better not to have ever dug Richard up.
Meanwhile, up in Edinburgh they are buzzing about another body found beneath a car park! What is it about British car parks? This one appears to be the body of a knight dating from the 13th century. So far, nobody's fighting over him, but it has caused intense interest: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-21762422 . Hmmm! Could he be one of my lost ancestors? :~)
Yours Aye,
Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
