Noble Friends, especially fellow Scots,
Using 3D technology, the researchers who reconstructed the face of Richard III have created a portrait of Mary Queen of Scots as she looked during her 20s. This was the period when she reigned in Scotland, and for some reason there are no portraits of her during that period. The image is a composite, based on adjustments to earlier and later portraits. You can view the image and read about the project at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-23086520 .
And yes, she was lovely.
Yours Aye,
Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
