Noble Friends,

Leicester has unveiled plans for their Richard III museum, next to the car park and former abbey where he was buried after the Battle of Bosworth: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-22887058 . Nice design for a noble building, and it will include a café. Not mentioned, but expected, will be the ever-popular gift shop before you exit. In the meantime, the very late king's reconstructed head will go on tour, to return for the grand opening and reburial of the real king next year.

Not be to outdone, York has announced a year of celebrations and events, no doubt in the hope of bolstering their claim the kings mortal remains: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-22881273 . In the meantime, the battle of the bones inches forward toward a date before a bewigged judge who will decide which city will get burial rights.

Certainly more to come!

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
