        You ain't the first!  This sort of fraudulent message is 
increasingly common.  You were correct to change your PW, but I doubt that 
it will solve the problem.
        We all need to remain constantly aware of the fact that there are 
many spam-writing programs widely available, and that many tens 
(hundreds???) of thousands of real addresses and names are also widely 
available.
        If an email has no real personally-identifiable comment, and simply 
recommends an unfamiliar email, we should PRESUME that is a hoax and a lie. 
 If there is any doubt about the authenticity, then forward it to whatever 
address you already have on file for the alleged sender -- NOT just click 
"Reply") and ask whether or not it was real.
