[MR] Event fees and family caps

I am autocratting my first event next month, a Baronial Birthday and 
Investiture.  Someone asked my reservationist a question, which he 
forwarded to me.  Having never done this before, I thought I'd bring it 
up here and see if anyone has any advice.

Someone asked about a "family cap" on fees.  I know there is often such 
a thing, and I've probably taken advantage of it before, but I haven't 
paid much attention to it.  If you've autocratted an event and utilized 
a family cap, please explain how you came up with the number, what all 
it applies to, etc.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
