BBC is reporting that Plantagenet descendants want Richard III buried in York. They claim it is "a matter of justice": http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-21383950 .

Meanwhile a linguistic scholar has used clues in two of Richard's surviving letters to decide he spoke with a West Midlands accent: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-21369077 . Now he can make this claim is beyond me, but it is interesting that the scholar, Dr. Philip Shaw teaches at the University of Leicester. The story includes an audio clip.
