[MR] More On Richard's Fate

It was mentioned in at least one of the stories I read today. But they all say the cause of death was either the big slice off the back of the head, or the stab wound through the head that actually dented the inside of the skull.  They also mention 'humiliation' injuries but only specified a butt wound.

That was some serious scoliosis he had!  I still enjoy the portrayal of "Good King Richard" from the first Blackadder series, lol.

I'm looking forward to completion of the facial reconstruction.

Noble Friends,

Either I missed this interesting account of Richard III's last moments, or it was posted later today:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-21245346 .

I see no mention now of the arrow head in his spine as initially announced. (BBC, 12 Sept. 2012: "And when we lifted the spine, we found [an] arrowhead!")  Perhaps this was somehow proven to be something else during the investigation.

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
