Greetings to the List,

   Preregistration for Highland River Melees is now available on ACCEPS!!!
In honor of the occasion, I am reinstating the 10 reasons you should go to
HRM this year.

Reason 1) FREE BOOZE!  HRM has become renowned for its annual brewing
competition.  Entries include beer, wine, cordials, mead, and just about
anything else you can think of.  Yes, even nonalcoholic drinks.  Combine
that with great camping at a beautiful campsite (stay tuned for future
releases of the 10 reasons for more on the site), it will be a fantastic
evening of fun and merriment, followed by a short walk… or crawl to your
tent.  Not only is there a brewing competition, but there is an open bar
that opens before evening court, continues throughout feast, and continues
into the Bardic and dancing in the night.  It’s all open and free to those
attending the event.   If you know someone who camped an HRM in recent
years ask them how awesome it is!!  So not only should you come to HRM, but
you should camp with us too, and help us get rid of our oversupply.  =)   I
