Greetins to all Concerned!
 
The Friday night before Southern War Practice I was bothered by a hemmorhage in my retina (right eye), causing me temporary blindness. This was made a further difficulty as that the week before that, my left eye's retina detached completely and I am now blind in that eye. Rather interesing seeing light in one eye and darkness in the other and still be blind. The only cure for the right eye is to wait until the blood was reabsorbed into my system and the eye cleared. That meant being offine or having a "ghost" writer to post things or check my email (reading anything was a no-go) last week I was able to start posting on Facebook, but it was difficult to see the keyboard to type. Yahoo, (and IE) is difficult when one tries to increase the zoom past 100%,which is why I haven't been posting lately. 
Quarterly Reports may be a bit late as I gather my information for the reports. 
 
Some things I did find out:
1. I can still cook blind (with a little help).
2. If you know where your knife is in relation to the food and your fingers, it is possible to do some knife work, but the finer stuff needs at least some clarity.
3. My Brì-puppy is such a smart girl and was able to guide me arond the house without bumping into things (^_^)
 
Glad to have my sight back, at least partially. Looking into eyepatches.
