Just a quick few things tonight....

First...
So you missed the deadline for ACCEPS pre-reg?
Well don't worry there is still time! The deadline for mail in pre-reg is
this Thursday, September 20th. So go here...

Second....
We need your help! Volunteers are needed everywhere of course and we won't
turn down any help offered but there are a few specific areas that we
REALLY need people for....

Marshals!!!
Marshals are needed for all areas of martial activity but especially for
the heavy melees. With the number of volunteer marshals we have right now
we CAN NOT have melee fighting according to the rules. So please contact
Lord Symon at lord.symon at gmail.com if you can marshal either the Woods
Battle on Friday or the Castle/Bridge Battle on Saturday.

Gate Helpers!!!
Please contact Lord Edmund at Edmund.Hawkesworth at yahoo.com if you can spend
a couple hours helping at check in. He is looking for people that can help
on Thursday and Friday especially.

Security!!!!
One of the easiest jobs at the event is sitting at the security check
points! The whole job is to sit in a chair and check to make sure people
have their site tokens.... if you have been to the big wars you have seen
people doing this. If you can help with this, with parking patrol or with
the night time security walks, please contact Lord Donal at dro322 at aol.com.

Don't forget about the volunteer points! It is a great way for us (the
event) to give back in thanks for your generous giving of your time at the
event. Every hour you spend volunteering will earn a volunteer ticket that
you turn in for a percent of the event profits for the group you choose.

And lastly....
There will be a memorial viking boat burning again this year.... if you
want to have a shield painted and added to the boat please contact Lord
Christophe of Grey at cogworks at triad.rr.com before Saturday, September 22.
