As all martial and arts and science activities were completed at the waning
of the afternoon, did Their Excellencies Thylacinus Aquila of Dair Eidand
and Aodh Adendra Marland, Baron and Baroness of Hidden Mountain, hold court:
Her Excellency Etain of Sutherland, Baroness of Nottinghill Coill, was
invited to join the Baron and Baroness.
Their Excellencies then welcomed those attending and commented on the events
of the day.
The children there present were invited into court and encouraged to a
gentle and courteous pursuit of Lord Robert the Banished, Hidden Mountain
Seneschal, who had been entrusted with the Baronial Toy Chest.
Their Excellencies then summoned forth the newcomers and gifted each with a
scroll to commemorate their first event.
The Baron and Baroness commented to all upon forthcoming events inside and
outside the barony, including Southern War Practice, War of the Wings,
Jester's Tourney and Feast of Saint Andrew.
Lord Hróðgeirr Hrafnsson was then summoned forth and inducted into the Order
of the Azure Mountain in recognition of his contributions to the Arts and
Sciences not only in Moorhaven but also in the barony and kingdom at large.
Lady Gepa of Sundragon came into court to make a presentation of beaded
renditions of the armory of the Barony and its cantons. Their Excellencies
looked on these with great favor and bestowed on Lady Gepa the Award of the
Azure Cloud not only for her beadwork but for her other services in the arts
to Moorhaven during her tenure there. The membership of Moorhaven was then
summoned forth to participate in a presentation of a silver chalice to Lady
Gepa as a gift from the folk of Moorhaven.
Their Excellencies next called into court the autocrat, Lord Aaron of
Moorhaven, who bestowed the prizes for the various martial activities of the
day and, with the aid of Lady Asta knarrarbringa, also bestowed prizes upon
the victors in the Arts and Sciences competitions.
At this point, there being no further business, Their Excellencies took an
enormous clap of thunder as a sign and closed court.
Thus did I observe and to this I testify as Their Excellencies' herald for
this court.
