Their Majesties Bryan and Brianna having departed the thrones, Mistress
Alesia Gillefalyn as Kingdom Seneschal called for any valid claimants to the
Crown of Atlantia.
Prince Vladimir Ivanovich Aleksandrov immediately came forth to assert His
claim to the throne and was challenged for the throne by Jarl Timmeke
Haakonson of Nordheim and Duke Ragnarr Blackhammer.
Prince Vladimir having supported his claim to the Crown of Atlantia not only
by his personal victory in the Crown Lists but also --- in the best Russian
manner --- a show of force from a mercenary band of Celts and massed archers
of Atlantia, Jarl Timmeke and Duke Ragnarr acknowledged the justice of His
claim as did the Kingdom Seneschale, though somewhat more reluctantly.
Prince Vladimir immediately swore faith to the people of Atlantia and
crowned himself Tsar and then administered the same oath to His lady, Kalisa
Aleksandrovna, and crowned her Tsaritsa.
Tsar Vladimir moved quickly to suppress any traces of rebellion in His reign
by reproaching Mistress Alesia for her opposition to His claim and ordering
His guards to remove her to a place of imprisonment.
As a further means of restoring order to Atlantia, the Tsar summoned forth
the territorial baronage, who had been released from their oaths by His
predecessor, and bade them swear again their fealty to the Crown and people
of Atlantia.
In like manner, the Tsar immediately took oaths from the Great Officers of
State, from the Chivalry and from the members of the Order of the Laurel and
of the Order of the Pelican.
Lord Marcus Vitellius Ursus was called then forward to be praised for his
long service in illustrating the life of Atlantia and made a Baron of the
Court of Atlantia.
Tsar Vladimir ordered that Duke Ragnarr and Jarl Timmeke be called forth to
account for their opposition to His claim to the throne. They explained
that they had acted thus in hopes of guaranteeing aid for Sir Forgal their
brothers of Moose Lodge who were sore pressed by the rumored approach of war
to the South. Seeing their sincere repentence, the Tsar not only forgave
them their opposition but pledged to lead the armies of Atlantia to the aid
of the Lodge and the Kingdom of Trimaris at Gulf Wars.
To these actions I bear witness and testimony as herald for the Tsar and
Tsaritsa upon this day,
Alisoun
