Subject: [MR] Principal for Order of Chivalry?

"...if there was a true desire to settle things in a private and discreet
manner, then a simple request to know if there is a Principal for the Order
of Chivalry would have sufficed.? There was no need to include statements
like - "

Your Grace,

Thank you, I'm seeing that now. I apologize for phrasing it that way. I
meant to impart that I have been unsuccessful in resolving this at the lower
levels and, rather than moving up to the kingdom level, I wanted to know if
there was a specific member of the Order I might contact who could handle
this *informally* (ie without launching anything official) and be made aware
of the conduct in case it becomes a pattern in the future.

I am concerned about the level of pushback I've been subjected to while
pursuing this over the last 5 months. In light of the recent settlement, I
believe the SCA should foster an environment that encourages people to step
forward if they have legitimate complaints of SCA leadership abusing the
populace.

Regardless, I should have expressed myself better and also been more
discrete. Again, I apologize for that. But please know this was a good faith
mistake made in ignorance and frustration, not malice. I do have a small
hornets nest in my inbox chastising me for that error in judgement, so I
won't soon forget the lesson.

Cheers
Fen
