[MR] Crown Tournament Poetry Competion

Calling all Poets! No matter how long you have been composing poetry and no matter what your age, you are invited to participate in this competition.
 
Please don't forget to bring your pen, paper and imagination to Crown Tournament!!!  The pagentry, chivalry, fighting and people are a wonderful spark to the imagination.  I hope you will be inspired and will participate in the Poetry competition I am sponsoring.  Here are the details:
 
Each poet is asked to write a poem of any length commemorating the events of the day.  The poem should focus on the History/Romance (yes, romance, we are poets!) of the event as it unfolds.  You may follow one fighter or you may write an overview of the entire tournament.  The poem should be written in a medieval form and documented (don't let documentation stop you from entering, it is a learned science).  Entries are to be emailed to the Poeta no later than May 27th (3 weeks after the Crown Tourney).
 
I would appreciate it if you would let me know that you are working on a poem.  You can email me or sign up at the Tournament.  Please let me know if you are a new poet, practicing your art for less than a year or if you are a child or youth (please provide your age).  I reserve the right to award prizes in multiple categories based on the experience of the poet.
 
Please remember I will be available in the Bright Hills pavilion and will have information on documentation that might help you.  I would love to talk to you and read some of your work.
