But what of the Youth?!

Amongst the furor of the feuding Baronies, the diminutive and underage
citizens of Fair Atlantia suffer from neglect! I challenge the Kind and
Generous, Brewing Baronage (and Populace) to care for the Youth of our
Kingdom. They too thirst! I entreat you to consider creating beverages for
those who can not partake of the ones of alcoholic nature. Further, I
challenge you to permit the Youth to judge your libations suitable for
their tender years at our Children's Activities at the Baronial Brewing
Smackdown, er, Highland River Melees.

I wish to offer my fair cousin Barun Siegfried the merest thought that I,
Baroness Sorcha, might have brewed less than half my usual output for the
year, having been attentive in other ways to my own most excellent Barony.?
Therefore each individual batch I make is receiving tender attention and
special care.? My people will not lack in quality even when I have not
produced large quantities.??

It may be that the good Barun is less aware than he might be of exactly how
many barrels of beer and mead it takes to slake the thirst of an entire
barony.? Last year, I believe it took the contributions of quite a few
baronies to supply suitable quantities at a certain event in the high(ish)
region near the crossing of a river in Atlantia.? I am counting on the
gracious contributions of the many to compensate at that event again this
year.

Unto the most august Excellency of Storvik: Baroness Sorcha, and
Excellency of Ponte Alto, Baron Drogo, does Barun Siegfried of Highland
Foorde send ... 'Greetings'

Your most wonderful Excellencies ... I fear that much time has passed
since our last encounter at the last Highland River Melees.  Where (in a
highly contested competition I might add), it seems that Baroness Sorcha
was awarded the Tri-Barony Brewing competition.

Well Highland Foorde has many, ummm, 'agents' in the wild, who have been
keeping track of your Excellencies through magical modern marvels

(I hear tales of some magical book, that shows each of your faces, and
tells of all the activities that you are doing).

Through the marvels of this face showing book ...

I have learned that Baron Drogo appears to have been traveling
extensively - and therefore not necessarily taking care of his Baronial
Brewing Duties, in keeping his populace well stocked in beer & mead!

I have also learned, that Baroness Sorcha, appears to be attempting to
make up for any lack of quality, with pure quantity.  Having been
brewing gallons upon many gallons with a fever unknown otherwise.

As those of my Barony have been apt to point out however, it's the
quality, not the quantity, that truly matters.  For one drop of amazing
nectar will outweigh gallons upon gallons of lesser quality brew.

...

I must say that it appears that my chances are looking far better, in
the eventuality of us meeting on the field of Baronial Brewing Battle
again in the coming months.
