Good afternoon,
I apologize - I was the Rose who passed the announcement on to Mistress Jessamyn. It did not read to me like what you have described, but rather an invitation to an open practice. I would like to invite any non Free Scholar or White Scarf Rapier Fighters (actually Free Scholars and White Scarfs are welcome as well), to come to our house on the Sunday for an open practice if they so desire. We will have a lot of people at the house that weekend and I am sure there will already be heavy fighting happening and there is plenty of room for all to participate - we have almost 4 acres open for fighting. Address and contact info below.

This announcement was never suppose to go out to the merry rose!
This announcement was already passed to those on the appropriate list. It
was also pasted to the roses so that they could use it to help gather
rapier fighters to support their teams.
This is a gathering of freescholar's and white scarf's to talk informally
and do what it is call meet and beat. The site we have CAN NOT hold a large
gathering of all of the rapier fighters in the kingdom. Please contact
myself or Giovan if you are not a freescholar or white scarf and want to
attend this function. Or have questions about this function.
