Mark your calendars for next Sunday, June 24th!

Class on DaCapri Italian Renn. Gown

This class will give you everything that you need to know to construct the Italian Renaissance gown found in DaCapri's Portrait of a Woman.  The portrait is housed in the Frankfurt Stadelishes Kunstinstitut in Germany and dates to approximately 1530.  Included in the class will be:  how to construct the chemise, beginning corsetry, how to make an underskirt, and how to pattern and construct the gown, itself.  In addition, my sister, Lady Therasa du Domremy,  will be doing a 20 min. to 1/2 hour presentation on hats and hairdressing in the 1530's in Italy.

The class will begin at noon (12:00pm) on June 24th, and will last as long as it takes us.  It will be held at my house in Greenbelt.

STUDENTS SHOULD BRING WITH THEM:
Sturdy paper to make a corset pattern with
Scissors to cut paper
A measuring tape
Paper & pen to take notes

Students should also RSVP, so that I know how many to expect.  Either drop me a note, at:  jeanmaire9 at yahoo.com, or give me a call.  My address & phone number are posted on the Kingdom Web site under Royalty & Officers.  (http://acorn.atlantia.sca.org/regnum.php)

Yours in Service,

Mistress Jeanmaire du Domrémy
