[MR] BBC: Medieval "Vampire" Graves Found

Noble friends,

Grim as this story is, it is sure to raise at least an eyebrow, if not a 
smile. Archaeologists in Bulgaria have found two medieval graves into 
which the occupants were pinned with metal stakes through their hearts. 
This was apparently not uncommon and over 100 such sites are known.
