Memorial Day is to rmember the fallen and lost from every war and conflict.Veterans Day in November is for all the Veterans. We who served know the difference and know we stand on the shoulders of giants...in fact some feel diminished if they have not heard the roar or have seen the elephant.Every Veteran has done their part (behind the lines, on the lines, above the lines, and on the home front)A vet wrote the check using their life as collateral for the freedoms and way of life to be preserved in the US.We have a huge number of Vets in the SCA, and yes the toast to all who serve or have served is valid and should be raised at every bfeast, as well as to those we have lost. I would ask every autocrat or feast o crat or master of ceremonies to be aware and add these toasts to those already nplanned for the feast...and to further align these to be given by the apporpriate representatives, for those who serve or have served -- either the oldets or youngest vet present...for those we have lost -- presented by a surviving spouse, family memeber or oldets Vet. Just my two cents. Laird Seanne Alansyn, USAF Combat Comm
