Good Gentles,

A good source for textiles, trim, leather, tinware, ironware, etc., is at the Fort Frederick Market Fair.  Held on the site of a restored French and Indian War fort, there are upwards of 130 merchants.  I like to see and feel the fabric or leather I buy before I purchase it, and if you're like me, this is an excellent place to shop.  This is also a good source for camp gear and boxes and even hand carts and barrows.

There are also demos of F&I weapons and tactics, and a lot of 18th C reenactment groups camping onsite.

The website is:

The dates are 26-29 April this year.

In Service,
