March 23-25, 2012 – Battle for Marsh Abby

Canton of Misty Marsh, & Canton of Brockore Abby – Hartsville,
SC

Deep in the woods, on the
edge of the marsh, a small abbey has stood

silently for years on
disputed lands. Secluded, almost forgotten. But times

have been hard in the
Canton of Misty Marsh, and so they look to these lands

as a source for new
revenue.

Brockore Abbey serves as
adviser and protector for Marsh Abbey, and

they have heard that Misty
Marsh is preparing it's army for the march.

Therefore the Abbot has put
out a call for help.

Come join the Brockore
Abbey in defending Marsh Abby, or march

with Misty Marsh as they
lay claim to the lands.

Marshal Activities: Melees, heavy and rapier,
plus a torch lit tourney Friday

night and target archery and equestrian events.

Arts & Sciences
Activities: Cook a campaign meal. At least three items,

cooked on site, over an
open fire.(in a fire bowl) Contact the reservationist by

March 3rd to arrange a fire
bowl or bring your own.

Prepare for the battle, by
crafting items that are used on a campaign march or

in a battle, or craft items
found in an abbey. (get creative) Open.

Cost: Adult, Member: $5.00

may be reserved on a first
come bases.

Site restrictions: Fires in fire bowls only
(no ground fires.) Pets must be

leashed and picked up after
at all times. Parking, in designated areas only.

reservationist by March 3rd
