As we are coming down the home stretch of this anniversary year, I would
like to take this moment remind everyone to get your passports stamped
at events!

The next prize I have to tell you about is the Oseburg Chest.

The varieties of six-board chests
found in the Middle Ages are rather expansive. There are two, however,
that are distinctive in the execution of non-right angles and both come
from Northern Scandinavia. The one this chest is based upon, commonly
known as the Oseburg sea chest, was believed to be a strongbox onboard a Viking-Era Ship.

Constructed of solid oak boards that are carefully selected to ensure beautiful grain patterns from wide-width planks, this chest stands
approximately 18 inches tall and has nearly four cubic feet of internal
space.

Made by Lord Vels inn Viggladi.
You can go to http://www.travelatlantia.net/Oseburg.html to see this prize.

We would like to invite anyone willing to donate a prize to contact us at the above email address or info at AtlantiaTravels.net .  We have had several lovely prizes donated already, which I will be describing to you in my next announcement!

Happy Travels!

Lady Margaret Roe
