I think branles for kids would be a lovely class. Many of them are not only kid friendly, they are great ways for kids and grownuos to enjoy a time together. I am thinking specifically of the horses brall and the tangle branles. Of course there are others.
other class suggestions
are
make your own pouch a stitched belt pouch
.
make your own felled ball.. Ok that one is kinda messy but great fun outdoors on a hot day.
older kids might enjoy make youth on tunic.
Margaret , your class on viking (norse) cord making was a blast and might be a way foe kids to turn out something they could use as a belt?
children appropriate songs for bardic performances? To be learned and sung by kids?
how to serve at feast oe high table
i am only able to teach a few of these like the pouch making or children knitting or
the felled balls and possibly the dancing one but ill bet there are others who could do stuff like boffermaking... Etc.

Subject: [Keep] classes for children at Winter University
I am interested in teaching -- and my children are interested in
taking -- classes for children at the upcoming Winter University.
Are there other teachers out there who would be willing to teach? Know
of any older children who might be able to teach (with an adult to
help in the classroom?
If you can't teach a class, can you suggest a class that you know has
worked well in the past? Maybe we can find a teacher.
I'm also interested in having both youth heavy fighting and youth
rapier classes, in the hopes of increasing the number of youth
fighters in Atlantia. Maybe a class on how to make youth weapons, too.
Any marshals available to teach?
I know that this is a little late to start organizing a track, since
class proposals are due January 27th, but I had to survive 12th Night
before I could think about the next few events. If we think quickly,
we can do this!
