[MR] Attention Scribes!

Attention Atlantian scribes! Do you need a little push to complete one of
those pesky assignments that's been lying around? Do you want an excuse to
create a new scroll for a old friend? Want to help the kingdom by taking
care of the scribal backlog one scroll at a time? You should consider
entering the upcoming Scrivener Royal competition this April!

The Scrivener Royal is a Kingdom Notable position selected for excellence
in the scribal arts, and is expected to be committed to serving with and
encouraging others in their art. They can also act as the personal scribe
to the Crown if needed.

This year, the competition will be simply to complete one kingdom,
AoA-level BACKLOG scroll. No documention required, and no traditional
judging – the new Scrivener will simply be chosen from amongst the entrants
by Their (future) Majesties (Their current Highnesses Bryan and Brianna) to
serve during their reign. In addition, all entrants will receive scribal
goodies for entering!

If you would like to enter and already know someone on the backlog who
needs a scroll, please email backlog deputy Isemay the Nimble (
signet at atlantia.sca.org) and let her know which assignment you would like.
If you already have an assignment that you want to finish up for the
competition, please email Merwenna de Rannowe (csrapp at vt.edu) and let me
know that you are planning on entering. If you don't have an assignment in
mind, send an email to (signet at atlantia.sca.org) and Isemay will hook you
up with a scroll that needs to be made!

The competition will be held at the Coronation of Bryan and Brianna on
April 14th in the Barony of Raven's Cove.  Feel free to email Merwenna at
