Below is the feast menu for Bright Hills Baronial Birthday on February 11.  We hope you will attend.  This will be a wonderful Persian New Year's celebration.

The feast at Bright Hills Baronial Birthday will include:
>Appetizer:
>Ajil: Persian Trail Mix - 
pistachios, walnuts, black & golden raisins, figs, apricots, almonds, Turkish Delight, chickpeas.
>Mast-o-Khiar: Cucumber Dip - 
plain yogurt, cucumber, dried mint, salt, black pepper.
>Pink Pickled Turnips - 
turnips, beets, sugar, white vinegar, salt. 
>
>First Course:
>Koofteh Hulu: PlumMeatball - 
ground beef/turkey, carrots, chickpea flour, turmeric, egg, onion, raisins, dried mint, sugar, lime, salt, pepper, vegetable oil.
>Kookoo Sabzi - 
eggs, scallions, parsley, dill, tarragon, salt, pepper, butter.
>Ash-E-Reshteh: Noodle Soup - 
red kidney beans, navy beans, chick peas, onion, vegetable oil, black pepper, turmeric, lrntils, vegetable broth, chives OR scallions, dill, parsley spinach, red beet, egg noodles, flour, sour cream.
>Cucumber Medallions - 
cucumber, feta cheese, walnuts.
>Mint garnish  for noodle soup - 
onion, garlic, olive oil, dried mint leaves.
>Plain basmati or jasmine rice 
>
>Second Course:
>Fesenjan: Chicken with Pomegranate Sauce - 
butter, chicken, onion, walnuts, chicken stock, pomegranate syrup, sugar, salt, black pepper.
>Rice with Green Lentils and Raisins, basmati rice, salt, green rice, raisins, dates, onion, butter, vegetable oil, turmeric, saffron.
>Helawat al Jazr: Sweet Cardamom Carrots - 
carrots, sugar, low-fat milk (2%), cardamom, lemon peel, butter, flour.
>A dish including green beans, oil and seasonings, when recipe becomes available it will be posted.
>
>Desserts:  A fine buffet table of Persian desserts will be set for all to enjoy! 
>Cream-Stuffed Apricots - 
dried apricots, sugar, lemon juice, whipping cream, pistachios.
>Baklava - 
sugar, honey, lemon juice, light corn syrup, cinnamon, cardamom, blanched almonds, pistachios, walnuts, phyllo dough, butter.
>Hulwa: Sweet Candy - 
Sugar version: sugar, powdered egg whites, walnuts.
>Honey: honey, powdered whites, walnuts.
>Halvah parfait - 
hulwa, sugar, egg yolks, whipping cream
>Lauzinaj: Phyllo-Wrapped Marzipan - 
phyllo dough, marzipan, orange water, clarified butter, sesame oil, honey, pistachios.
>
>There will be Naan and gluten-free Naan during each Course.  We will be serving Mint Tea, Coffee and Sekunjabun.
>
>The menu and dish ingredients will be available at Troll AND on the tables during feast.
