This is THE book if you want to do anything in medieval crafts having  
to do with bone, antler, ivory or horn.

Every time these items come up for discussion on the SCA lists, going  
back 15+ years, this book comes up. Look at any of the Florilegium  
files on these subjects and you will see multiple mentions and  
recommendations for this book.

If you have any interest in this topic, I would buy a copy while you  
can, particularly at this price.

If you want some ideas of what you can do with these materials, read  
through the files in the CRAFTS section of the Florilegium.
