These are the new rules on blade flexibility.  A caution to all marshals and
rapier fighters:  if the blade holds a radical bend, retire it; if the blade
takes a radical kink at the end of the blade , retire it.  I do not want
anyone injured or reports filled out because we violated common sense.  I
want everyone to play, but in the immortal words of "Phil Esterhouse", Lets
be safe out there.

Changes to the official documents won't happen for a few months, it's a
minimum 6 week process and I'll wait until there's a few more to go in.  But
posted here, does make it an official change.  

 

I'll post this on the blog and Facebook in the next 24 hours.
