Greetings,
Here is an email that was posted on the Bright Hills list today.   A father, a brother, a husband and a friend.  A man well loved.
Nem

I am sad to report Temur of the Kerait (William Hume) passed away the morning of January 29th, 2012.
Per his wishes he was cremated and there will be no funeral.

There is to be a Memorial Celebration of him and his life on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM

As most of you know Temur was a very informal person. Thus the Memorial Celebration will be casual dress, jeans and t-shirt are just fine, but I ask you to not dress in a somber fashion. Garb is not required. We will celebrate his life, his stories, his quirks and foibles. If you have pictures, stories, whatever, please bring them and share with his family, friends, coworkers and brothers in arms.

The Barony of Bright Hills is hosting the Memorial and a Bright Hills Cooks Guild "Light lunch" will be provided. Feel free to add to the table pot luck style if you wish but it isn't required.

PLEASE RSVP if you are coming so our cooks will know how many to feed. RSVP's should be sent to Chagan at chagankhulan at comcast.net

The site is the Manchester Volunteer Fireman's Activities Hall in Manchester, MD., 3297 York Street, Manchester, MD 21102

Manchester, MD is located in northern Carroll County and the major intersection is MD rte 30 and MD rte 27. It is North of Westminster, MD and Northwest of Baltimore city.

Should you need lodging there are 3 hotels/motels in Westminster - a 10 mile drive from the site. Here are links to them.

Best Western; http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/US/MD/Westminster-hotels/BEST-WESTERN-Westminster-Catering---Conference-Center/Hotel-Overview.do?propertyCode=21045&cm_mmc=GooglePlaces-_-BW-_-MD-_-21045
Boston Inn; http://www.thebostoninn.com/

Both the Days Inn and Best Western are quite nice. I have been given mixed reviews on the Boston Inn but I've never stayed there so I can't comment. I believe it is the least expensive.
