Greetings to the List,

Many thanks to all from far and near who braved the questionable weather to attend Bright Hills Baronial Birthday.  My special thanks to her Majesty, Queen Padraigin for surprising us and gracing our event with her presence in the midst of such weather.  It was so good to see so many friends!

I want to offer my gratitude to people who helped me over the last few months and during the event to ensure that things ran smoothly.

To my co-autocrat, the wonderful Countess Rowan for helping me to scheme and create this wonderful event welcoming the new year and spring.

To my head cook the gracious Lady Wynne, who took on such a challenging feast and delighted us with such tasty Persian Faire.
To my wonderful daughter-in-law, Willow, and my granddaughter, Jenna, who supported me every step of the way, prepared all the lovely site and feast tokens and helped me throughout the day and much into the night.
To the Bright Hills Cooks who worked tirelessly in the kitchen all day and late into the night cleaning up--Bruce, Cordelia, Gustav, Brienna, Lindsay, Akiyo, Illya, Ivan, and Abigail

To my hall steward, Baron Barre, who always coordinates the hall so efficiently.

To my MICEvent, Janyn Fletcher and MICArchery Seamus McCray and all the archers who braved the weather to set up a fun shoot for everyone's enjoyment.
To Stephen Bridewell for agreeing to MICRapier, even though the weather denied us this.

To my Head Troll, Beverly Mah, who stepped in at the last minute when Alexander Fowler had to be on hand as MOL.
To Alexander Fowler for sitting at Troll all day and for being available as MOL at a moment's notice.
To Godai for so relentlessly making sure the hall was set up before shooting archery.
To Tsura for bringing her wonderful drapings a dais for the Baronage's area and working so hard to get set up in the morning.
To Livi for coordinating vendors, the sekunjabin tavern and competition and for running the silent auction.
To the vendors who braved the weather to come and grace us with their offerings.
To Mistress Martelle for her help.

To everyone who helped with set up and the long clean up into the night.  I will name some of you here and ask forgiveness from those whose names I do not convey:  Illya, Wolfie (who was still singing the cleaning song at 10:00 Saturday night), Caitlyn, William Scolari, Melissa, John, Joseph,  and Aiden.
To my wonderful Pelican, Mistress Chagan, for all her love and support!

Again, if I have missed your name, please forgive me.

Sincerely,

Lady Katarzyna Witkowska
