Subject: [AtlantianLaurels] Persona Pentathlon/Triathlon Thank You to Everyone who helped
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped to organize and judge this year's Persona Pentathlon/Triathlon competition. As I said in court, it takes an incredible number of people to make a competition like this run and run smoothly, and I am so grateful to all of you who stepped up and helped out. If I have this much support next year, I'll have no worries at all.
A few special thank you's:
Master Andras - for his sticker system that made keeping track of the judging so much easier (Belphoebe called it "brilliant." I agree.)
Lord Richard ffaukes - who manned the registration table all day and tallied the scores (in between helping to set up and clean up the event)
All the wonderful Laurels - who came by and dropped off last-minute prizes for the winners' baskets. They were both thrilled with their prizes!
The Most Awesome Order of the Pearl - for practically falling over themselves to volunteer as judges - and for just being awesome
The Intrepid Order of the Golden Dolphin - for stepping out of their comfort zone to judge as well - and for putting on a mighty fine event!
and last but not least,
Lady Larissa Mikhailovna - who played the part of "girl Friday," manning the registration table, being a runner, even manning Master Eadric's merchant stall so that he could come out to judge
I apologize for not mentioning more names. There were just so many of you, including many whose names I don't know, but trust me when I say that I appreciate all your efforts and support. This competition would never have happened without you.
Most sincerely,
Branwen Wallis
