Magister Eadric,
Thank you for such a generous gift - I am sure Their Majesties will
appreciate this, and it will help the Kingdom's coffers.
One thing I would like to emphasize to all. While there is a short
turnaround time for the Kingdom to remit funds to Corporate, we are
not at risk in the short term. Per our current plan, we should be
able to re-fund our normal annual budget level with the $400 per
barony contributions Their Majesties have requested from our 17
baronies. Over the next weeks, the Kingdom Financial Committee,
together with the Crowns and Coronets will be developing a long-term
plan to ensure the Kingdom's finances remain sound going forward.
One of the great benefits of our situation, where the Kingdom has cash
on hand to meet this obligation, is that groups and individuals who
wish to contribute to the Kingdom have time to consider their
contribution carefully, and act prudently. There is no rush
necessary.
Their Majesties have asked that anyone please direct any questions
regarding this process and decision to me at gravesend at mac.com.
Regards,
Gravesend
