We would like to propose the Barony consider new Baronial Thrones. The ones
that Sir Bryce made are beautiful but they are now nine years old and
showing considerable wear. In addition, they are too cumbersome to
transport at Pennsic or Kingdom events where they need to be set up in
several different places over the course of a day. We will be accepting
bids with designs for two sets. One folding set for easy transport and one
fancier set like the ones we have now for local events. The second set
would be used when transportation is not an issue and would double as
seating for visiting dignitaries, such as Their Majesties, to allow them to
travel lighter. It is our hope to obtain several bids, both within and out
of the Barony with a particular preference for local talent. The bids
should be separate, one for each set. Please email baronage AT
